We welcome applications from people whose lives have been changed by a serious injury or illness and who do not have access to other sources of funding. Our grants can make a real difference by helping people access specialist equipment, specialist services, and respite breaks that improve quality of life. As with all grant-making organisations, we have eligibility criteria that applicants must meet. Please read the information below carefully before completing our eligibility checker.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply, you must:

Be aged 16 or over.
Live in South Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Greater Manchester, County Durham or Tyne and Wear.
Be applying for support valued between £500 and £5,000.
Not be making a personal injury compensation claim, and not have received compensation for the injury or illness for which you are seeking support.
Be applying for support that is not available through the NHS.
Be unable to afford the support yourself or through your family’s financial resources.

Before you start your application

As part of the application process, you’ll be asked to upload a valid form of photographic ID, such as a passport or driving licence. Please have this ready before you begin your application.
