Our Trustees

STEPS Rehabilitation Foundation is run by a team of dedicated Trustees, all of whom have experience of working with and supporting people following serious injury or illness.

Two of our Trustees have sustained life-changing injuries of their own following road traffic collisions, and have first-hand knowledge of what a huge difference it can make to have access to the right specialist equipment, therapeutic support and accessible leisure experiences.

Together, our Trustees have range of skills to ensure the smooth running and effectiveness of the Trust, from PR to medical expertise, from knowledge of the compensation claims process to knowing where to turn for emotional support. The Foundations Trustees are focussed on being able to support individuals and families in a variety of ways that supports the improvement of quality of life.

Whilst the Foundation may share its name with STEPS Rehabilitation and STEPS Prosthetics, it operates entirely independently. However, the work of these two companies influenced the decision by the founding Trustees to launch the charity, all of whom have witnesses first-hand the incredible difference that specialist support can make to people following life-changing illness and injury.
